Job Description

Job description:

  • Diagnose and repair automotive electrical systems
  • Apply knowledge of automotive electronics, engines, and chassis
  • Replace and Install electrical components, such as cutouts, harness, relays, fuses, and circuit breakers, horns, lights, and turn signals, wire gauges, gauges, sensors, alternators, starter motors etc
  • Perform maintenance on batteries and charging systems
  • Inspect and test electrical connections and components
  • Insulate and wire electrical panels and engine compartment
  • Perform engine and driveline repairs
  • Analyze and interpret technical diagrams
  • Prepare estimates for costs and labor hours
  • Propose repairs based on vehicle electrical systems diagnosis
  • Read blueprints and other process drawings
  • Use digital diagnostic equipment to identify issues
  • Solder and crimp electrical wiring.
