Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Electrical Supervisor to lead our electrical installation
teams on active jobsites. In this role, you will bridge the gap between project management
and field execution, ensuring all conduits, wiring, panels, and fixtures are installed
properly. The ideal candidate has deep experience reading construction drawings,
managing material layouts, and enforcing strict site safety standards to deliver projects on
time.
Key Responsibilities
Site Supervision \& Labor Coordination
Assign daily installation tasks to Electricians, Helpers, and subcontractors.
Supervise field workforce installation of conduits, cable trays, panels, and lighting
and Lightning Protection Works.
Coordinate workflows with other trades (HVAC, plumbing, drywall) to avoid
scheduling conflicts.
Track daily labor hours and monitor field productivity against project milestones
Shop Drawing Interpretation \& Materials Management
Review architectural blueprints, MEP drawings, and electrical schematics for
structural conflicts.
Perform material take-offs to estimate required conduits, wiring, and hardware.
Manage jobsite inventory, ordering and staging materials to prevent installation
delays.
Submit Requests for Information (RFIs) to engineers when design gaps are
discovered
Jobsite Safety \& Risk Management
Enforce 100% compliance with OSHA standards, site safety rules, and PPE usage.
Lead daily toolbox talks focused on construction hazards, fall protection, and shock
prevention.
Manage Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) protocols during live tie-ins and systems testing.
Identify and mitigate safety risks on active, changing construction zones.
Skills and Qualifications
Technical \& Construction Skills
Mastery of commercial or industrial construction electrical installation techniques.
Advanced capability to read and markup construction drawings, schematics, and
BIM layouts.
Thorough knowledge of civil and structural construction steps and scheduling
Soft Skills
Strong leadership capacity to drive productivity and morale in fast-paced
construction yards.
Excellent logistical coordination skills to manage supply delivery and manpower
shifts.
Clear verbal communication to direct crews and report progress directly to Project
Managers.
Education and Experience Requirements
Education: Completion of a formal Diploma or Equivalent.
Experience: Minimum 5 years of commercial or industrial construction field
experience, with 2+ years in a foreman or supervisory role.
