E-commerce Developer

Position Overview

We are seeking a talented E-commerce Developer to design, develop, and maintain online store platforms and applications. This role requires strong programming expertise, knowledge of e-commerce frameworks, and the ability to deliver innovative solutions that enhance customer experience and business efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain e-commerce websites and applications.
• Integrate platforms with payment gateways, inventory systems, and CRM tools.
• Collaborate with designers, marketers, and product teams to enhance user experience.
• Optimize websites for performance, scalability, and mobile responsiveness.
• Ensure compliance with data security and payment industry standards (PCI DSS).
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in live e-commerce environments.
• Document processes and provide training/support to end-users.
• Stay updated on emerging e-commerce technologies and recommend innovative solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in web or e-commerce development.
• Strong knowledge of programming languages (PHP, JavaScript, Python, or similar).
• Experience with e-commerce platforms (Shopify, Magento, WooCommerce, or custom frameworks).
• Familiarity with cloud platforms and database management.
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills.
• Ability to thrive in fast-paced, project-driven environments.
• Fluency in English; Arabic proficiency is an advantage.
