Job Title: E-commerce Business Manager

Location: Dubai, UAE

Reporting To: Business Owner / Managing Director

Salary: AED 3,000 - 5,000 per month + performance bonus

About The Role

We are looking for a young, aggressive, and driven E-commerce Business Manager to take over the day-to-day strategic operations of our online software and digital products business.

This is not an operational role. You will not be doing listings, designing creatives, or processing orders. That team already exists.

Your job is to do what the business owner currently does:

Find new products to sell

Negotiate with suppliers

Set margins and pricing strategies per platform

Manage online ratings and customer escalations

You will be given a team that executes. You will be given systems that work. You will be given authority to make decisions within clear boundaries.

In return, you will be expected to drive growth, protect margins, and eventually run this division independently.

Key Responsibilities

1. Product Sourcing \& Supplier Management

• Identify new software, digital products, and IT-related hardware or Electronics to add to our portfolio
• Research market demand, competitor pricing, and platform-specific opportunities
• Contact suppliers, negotiate pricing and payment terms favorable to us
• Maintain relationships with existing suppliers
• Work within a tiered supplier system:
• Existing suppliers: Full authority to renegotiate within limits
• New small/unknown suppliers: Initiate contact, owner approves final terms
• New major brands: Research and identify, owner handles negotiation

2. Pricing \& Margin Strategy

• Calculate landed costs including platform fees (Noon, website, other marketplaces)
• Set selling prices per platform based on competition, fees, and margin targets
• Adjust pricing dynamically based on market changes, promotions, or slow-moving inventory
• Ensure minimum margin thresholds are maintained (target: 25-30% for B2C, higher for B2B)

3. Platform \& Ratings Management

• Monitor online store ratings on Noon, Google, and social media
• Identify trends in customer feedback and coordinate with team to address issues
• Suggest service improvements or new offerings based on customer insights
• Handle customer escalations that support team cannot resolve

4. Team Coordination \& Handoff

• Pass approved products with pricing and margin details to the web developer (who coordinates with graphic designer and listing person)
• Ensure the team has everything they need to list products correctly
• Provide feedback to team members when their work affects ratings or customer experience

5. Performance Tracking \& Reporting

• Track weekly sales, margins, and profit by product category and platform
• Report to owner monthly on performance vs. baseline
• Identify underperforming products and recommend actions (reprice, discontinue, bundle)

What We Are NOT Looking For

This role is NOT for someone who wants to:

• Do listings, design graphics, or process orders (we have separate people for each)
• Manage people heavily (the team is small and self-directed on execution)
• Work 9-to-5 with no ownership mentality
• Avoid responsibility for results

What We ARE Looking For

Must Have Nice to Have

• 2-4 years experience in UAE e-commerce (Noon, Amazon, or similar) Experience with software or digital products and Electronic Products
• Proven ability to source products and negotiate with suppliers Basic understanding of margin math and platform fees
• Data-driven mindset — makes decisions based on numbers, not gut Experience with Noon's backend and advertising tools
• Fluent in English (written and spoken) Arabic speaking (helpful but not required)
• Hungry to earn more through performance bonuses Existing supplier relationships in IT/software and Electronics
• Age 25-32 (not rigid, but target range)

Pay: AED3,000.00 - AED5,000.00 per month
