Job Description

Wordsmith Advertising/AMIN Turkey is looking for an Intern Designer to work alongside of our award-winning creative and design team. This person will report to the Senior Designer and Creative Director and be directly involved in concepting and designing striking and memorable work for top-notch international and Turkish brands. Collaborating with other creatives including our copywriters and videographers to engage audiences through online and traditional design, the successful candidate will be immersed in the ideation, refinement and execution process for everything from visual identities to printed collateral and online content. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, is energized by a multicultural environment, always up-to-date with emerging trends, eager to learn and develop themselves, brings new ideas to the table, is proactive and organized and enjoys working both individually and with a team.

Qualifications Must Haves

• Graphic design experience, preferably as part of a relevant undergraduate or graduate degree program
• Passion for design and visual communications
• Strong Adobe CC skills – InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop and Experience Design
• Fluent command of spoken and written English

Nice to Haves

• Previous internship experience
• Coding chops with HTML5, Wordpress, etc.
• Familiarity with AfterEffects
• Working knowledge of offset and digital printing
• Francophones welcome, Turkish or Arabic a huge plus

The Practicalities

• Fulltime, unpaid internship
• WS covers all residence permit related expenses
• Minimum 4-month internship
