ABOVEU SDN. BHD. is looking for a multi-talented Fashion Stylist \& Designer! We are a flagship studio specializing in Personal Color Analysis and Personal Fashion Styling using our original, Japanese-developed method. We also welcome textile designers.

We’re looking for a creative visionary with a customer-centric mind who can not only style our clients but also contribute to the physical creation and redesign of garments.

What You Will Do

Consultation \& Analysis: Conduct Personal Color Analysis, Body Type Analysis, and guided Shopping Tours.

Bespoke Styling: Suggest outfits and styling tips tailored to each customer’s unique "ideal image" and color season.

Design \& Upcycling: Conceptualize and create new designs. A key focus will be upcycling or redesigning existing pieces to fit the client’s best silhouette and color.

Marketing \& Branding: Collaborate with the CEO to brainstorm and execute marketing ideas that increase brand exposure.

Client Experience: Provide high-level customer service, wardrobe consultations, and accessory advice.

Studio Support: Assist with events, workshops, and general sales/operations at our flagship location.

Requirements

Experience: Professional background in fashion design, styling, or beauty.

Technical Skills: Ability to sew and design is highly preferred, specifically the skill to upcycle or alter garments.

Communication: English fluency is required, while proficiency in Malay or Chinese is highly advantageous. A strong command of or a keen interest in Japanese is a significant plus.

Market Savvy: Demonstrated ability to handle marketing, branding, and sales tasks.

Cultural Awareness: Knowledge of Hijab styling is a plus if you are a Hijabi stylist.

Mindset: Ability to multitask in a close-knit team environment and handle creative and operational tasks.

Location: Must be able to work in person at our corporate office/studio in The Gardens Mall.
