We are currently seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Deputy Manager to join our dedicated team.
The Role
As Deputy Manager, you will work closely with the Creche Manager to support the day-to-day operations of the service, ensuring the highest standards of care, education, compliance, and team leadership. Key Responsibilities
- Support the Creche Manager in the overall running of the service.
- Lead and inspire a team of Early Years Educators.
- Ensure compliance with Tusla regulations, Aistear, Síolta, and all relevant legislation.
- Maintain high-quality standards of care, learning, and development.
- Support staff development through mentoring, coaching, and supervision.
- Build positive relationships with children, parents, and guardians.
- Ensure health, safety, and safeguarding procedures are adhered to at all times.
- Act as Person in Charge in the Manager's absence.
Requirements
- Minimum QQI Level 7 qualification in Early Childhood Care and Education (or recognised equivalent).
- At least 2 years' experience working within an early years setting.
- Previous supervisory or leadership experience desirable.
- Strong knowledge of Tusla regulations, Aistear, and Síolta.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
- Ability to lead by example and foster a positive team culture.
- Genuine passion for supporting children's learning and development.
- Garda Vetting and references required.
