Cyber Security Analyst (SOC Monitoring)

Job Overview:

The Cyber Security Analyst will be responsible for continuous security operations and monitoring within a high-stakes Financial Services environment. The primary focus is to detect, analyze, and respond to security threats and vulnerabilities to protect the client's enterprise network and data assets

Key Responsibilities:

· Security Monitoring: Perform real-time monitoring of security alerts and logs across the network using SIEM and other security tools.

· Incident Response: Identify and investigate security anomalies, potential breaches, or unauthorized access attempts.

· Vulnerability Management: Assess and manage system vulnerabilities; coordinate with IT teams for remediation and patching.

· Network \& Endpoint Security: Monitor and maintain security posture for all network traffic and employee endpoints (laptops, servers, mobile devices).

· Compliance: Ensure all security operations align with the regulatory requirements of the financial industry (e.g., BNM RMiT guidelines).

· Reporting: Prepare detailed security incident reports and documentation for stakeholders.

Requirements:

· Experience: Minimum 1 years of relevant experience specifically in Security Operations Center (SOC) or Security Monitoring.

· Core Skills: Strong hands-on knowledge in:

· Vulnerability Management (VAPT)

· Network Security (Firewalls, IDS/IPS)

Working Time:

12 hour shift (9am - 9pm OR 9pm - 9am)

Work 2 days and Off 2 days routine

Pay: RM5,000.00 - RM9,000.00 per month
