About to role:-
The Payroll Analyst serves as the primary payroll contact for assigned clients, ensuring accurate, timely, and compliant payroll processing. This role partners closely with client stakeholders to understand payroll needs, resolve issues, provide guidance on payroll regulations, and deliver a high level of service while maintaining strong client relationships.
Main Responsibilities:
- Manage full-cycle payroll processing for assigned clients.
- Serve as the primary payroll contact for clients and maintain strong professional relationships
- Ensure timely and accurate payroll processing in accordance with client agreements and statutory requirements.
- Prepare, review, and submit statutory contributions and filings (e.g. EPF, SOCSO, EIS, PCB/Tax)
- Advise clients on payroll regulations, statutory updates, and best practices.
- Handle payroll inquiries, discrepancies, and escalations in a timely and professional manner.
- Maintain accurate payroll records and ensure proper documentation for audit purposes.
- Support payroll system implementation, testing, and data migration for new clients.
- Assist with payroll audits, reconciliations, and management reporting.
- Ensure confidentiality, data integrity, and compliance with data protection standards.
Main Requirements:
· Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Human Resources, or related field.
· Minimum 1-3 years of experience in payroll processing or payroll consulting.
· Strong knowledge of Malaysia payroll legislation and statutory compliance.
· Experience handling client portfolios or outsourced payroll services.
· Proficiency in payroll systems and Microsoft Excel.
· Excellent communication and client management skills.
· Strong attention to detail and ability to meet strict deadlines.
· Applicants must be willing to work in Q Sentral.
