This is a Permanent Full-Time role
The Curriculum Advisor will be based in the regions and is responsible for supporting schools to develop high-quality teaching and learning programmes with a specific focus on Secondary Education.
As a Curriculum Advisor, you will support teaching professionals to understand the new curriculum and NCEA design and support materials and how they are best implemented into specific teaching and learning contexts, thereby helping their learner develop the competencies they need for study, work, and life-long learning. The work is grounded in an understanding of the Science of Learning and evidenced based practice, as well as principles of inclusive and accessible learning design that embraces and reflects diverse languages, culture and identity of all learners.
You will be part of a regional team working closely with schools, kura and early learning services to:
Salary range: $100,296 - $121,490 per annum + KiwiSaver. The successful candidate will be appointed at a salary which reflects individual skills and experience.
