The Content Production and Social Media Manager is responsible for planning, creating, publishing, and optimizing content that strengthens our brand, builds community, and drives engagement across multiple digital channels. This role owns the end-to-end content lifecycle, from ideation and production through publishing, reporting, and community engagement. Reporting to the Marketing Lead and working collaboratively with the rest of the Marketing Team, the Content Production and Social Media Manager ensures that all content reflects the company’s values, maintains a consistent brand aesthetic, and delivers meaningful value to both wholesale and retail audiences. The ideal candidate is equal parts content strategist, storyteller, social media manager, and community builder… who also loves coffee!
Key Responsibilities:
Content Production:
- Plan and produce video and photo content for social media, YouTube, web, and email that empowers, inspires, and educates in support of marketing objectives and audience interests.
- Adapt content tone, messaging, and delivery to align with B2B and B2C audiences and the marketing strategies outlined for each.
- Ensure all content adheres to brand guidelines and maintains a consistent visual identity.
- Outline scripts, storyboards, shot lists, and production plans as needed to optimize shooting efficiency and efficacy.
- Coordinate and schedule shoots with vendors, brand ambassadors, customers, staff members, influencers, and other community partners.
- Identify opportunities to showcase customer stories, case studies, and community success.
- Optimize transcripts and written content for clarity, accuracy, and SEO best practices.
- Maintain efficient digital asset organization and management systems, and manage content delivery to partners, collaborators, and stakeholders when required.
Social Media Management
- Maintain social media calendars aligned with broader campaign strategies.
- Manage and publish content across multiple social media platforms and brand accounts.
- Write compelling captions that align with brand voice and objectives.
- Use clear calls-to-action that encourage engagement, build community, increase email sign-ups, and ultimately drive sales.
- Monitor and respond to comments, direct messages, mentions, and community interactions.
- Actively engage with community members, customers, creators, and industry partners.
- Maintain and update social profiles, link-in-bio tools, highlights, etc.
- Identify opportunities for collaboration, user-generated content, and brand amplification.
- Monitor platform performance and provide regular reporting and insights.
Industry Learning \& Development
- Stay informed on coffee industry trends, products, techniques, and community developments. to inform content planning.
- Continuously expand knowledge of content marketing, social media, and digital storytelling best practices.
- Apply industry insights to improve content relevance and audience engagement.
Qualifications \& Experience:
- Experience managing social media accounts for a brand, agency, or creator-led business.
- Strong video production and editing skills.
- Excellent written communication and copywriting abilities.
- Experience with content planning, scheduling, and campaign management.
- Familiarity with social media analytics and performance reporting.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Experience working with creators, influencers, or brand partnerships is considered an asset.
- Interest in coffee, hospitality, specialty food and beverage, or community-driven brands is highly desirable.
