Compensation: $19 per hour + Performance-based bonus opportunities

About the Role
We’re looking for a creative Content Creator \& Video Presenter to join our Marketing team and help shape the voice of our globally recognized brands in the consumer technology space. This role is ideal for someone passionate about consumer electronics and product education, and who is comfortable both behind and in front of the camera. The focus of the role is to become a true product expert, developing a deep understanding of our devices, including how they function, how they are designed, and how they perform in real-world use.
You will create clear, structured, and engaging written, graphic, and video content that communicates technical product details, features, and user experience in an accessible and compelling way. This is a hands-on, detail-driven role centered on product testing, structured evaluation, and scientifically minded communication. The successful candidate must be passionate about consumer electronics, with a strong interest in cannabis as part of the product ecosystem, and an ability to translate complex device functionality into clear, educational content.

Job Duties
- Create engaging video content including product demonstrations, tutorials, comparisons, and educational presentations showcasing device functionality and usage
- Appear confidently on camera to present products, explain features, and deliver clear, structured, and engaging educational content
- Develop written and visual content including scripts, blog posts, setup guides, technical write-ups, and product-focused educational materials
- Communicate complex technical product details in a clear, consumer-friendly, and visually engaging way across multiple formats
- Become a subject matter expert on our devices, accessories, and broader product ecosystem
- Regularly test products to understand device performance, features, functionality, and real-world user experience
- Participate in structured product testing, experimentation, and feedback discussions to improve product understanding and communication
- Produce educational content covering product usage, troubleshooting, setup, and best practices for both consumers and retail partners
- Support product launches by creating detailed educational, visual, and informational content across multiple formats
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure accurate product positioning, messaging, and technical alignment across all content
- Assist in developing structured product education materials across multiple brands and product lines
- Conduct research on consumer electronics trends, product innovations, and emerging technologies to inform content development
- Maintain consistency in product messaging, brand standards, and visual communication quality across all deliverables
- Contribute ideas for improving how products are explained, demonstrated, and presented to consumers and partners
- Stay informed on developments within consumer electronics and related technology categories to support ongoing product education
Qualifications:
- Education in Marketing, Communications, Media Production, Journalism, Consumer Electronics, Engineering Technology, or related fields is considered an asset; however, equivalent experience will also be considered
- 2 to 5 years of experience in content creation, product communication, technical writing, product testing, or related fields
- Strong passion for consumer electronics and cannabis and technology, with a genuine interest in understanding devices and how they function
- Ability to explain technical concepts clearly and effectively to consumers
- Experience creating educational, instructional, or product-focused content
- Comfortable appearing on camera for demonstrations, tutorials, or educational videos
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Detail-oriented, structured, and highly curious about product functionality and performance
- Experience with video editing, photography, or graphic content creation is considered an asset
- Experience using or reviewing consumer electronics products is highly preferred
- Passion for technology, experimentation, and product education

Pay: $18.00-$19.00 per hour
