Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented Channel RFI Analyst with strong experience in AML investigations and STR processes across Hong Kong and Singapore.
The role will focus on managing Requests for Information (RFI) related to transaction monitoring alerts, ensuring timely and accurate investigations, and supporting regulatory reporting obligations in compliance with regional requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Review and manage Requests for Information (RFI) arising from transaction monitoring alerts and case investigations.
- Conduct AML/CFT investigations on suspicious activities across multiple channels (payments, remittances, digital banking, etc.).
- Analyze transactional data, customer profiles, and behavioral patterns to identify potential financial crime risks.
- Support the preparation and submission of Suspicious Transaction Reports (STRs) in accordance with Hong Kong and Singapore regulatory requirements.
- Liaise with internal stakeholders (Compliance, Operations, Relationship Managers) to gather relevant information for investigations.
- Ensure all investigations are completed within regulatory timelines and internal SLAs.
- Maintain clear and comprehensive case documentation and audit trails.
- Perform name screening and transaction screening reviews, where required.
- Escalate high-risk or complex cases to senior compliance stakeholders.
- Stay updated on AML regulations and typologies across Hong Kong and Singapore jurisdictions.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Banking, Law, Business, or related field.
- 3–5 years of experience in AML/KYC/Transaction Monitoring/Investigations.
- Hands-on experience handling RFI processes and STR filings for:
- Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS)
- Hong Kong Monetary Authority (HKMA)
- Strong knowledge of AML/CFT regulations and compliance frameworks in Singapore and Hong Kong.
- Experience in transaction monitoring systems and case management tools.
- Proficiency in data analysis and investigation techniques (SQL knowledge is a plus).
- Strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, and decision-making skills.
- Ability to manage high volumes of cases under tight deadlines.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Pay: From RM7,000.00 per month
