CHEP is launching a new solution for the growing e-commerce channel and this role sits at the centre of bringing it to life!

As part of our values driven Sales \& Customer Solutions team, you’ll guide our first customers through adoption, stabilise the model during its early phase, and build the commercial foundations that allow the solution to scale. Here, your work won’t be confined to one function - you’ll influence how the solution operates, evolves, and grows in market.

You’ll work across product, digital, operations, asset management and customer teams to ensure every element of the solution performs as intended. This role can be based in Sydney or Melbourne (flexible, hybrid arrangements apply). What matters most is your ability to move confidently across functions, influence outcomes, and work hands on with customers as we establish this solution in market.

. The key responsibilities of this role include:

  • Lead the launch of CHEP’s new parcels distribution solution, supporting early customers through onboarding and stabilisation.
  • Act as the coordination point across Digital, Operations, Asset Management, Planning and Commercial teams during the early phase.
  • Build trusted relationships with parcel distribution and e-commerce customers, ensuring their needs shape how the solution performs.
  • Surface risks, resolve issues and improve processes to strengthen delivery, recovery and operational performance.
  • Bring customer insights back into the business to influence product and solution evolution and internal readiness.
  • As the solution matures, identify opportunities and engage new targeted customers to grow adoption within the channel.

What will ensure your success in the Role:

  • A completed tertiary qualification in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain, Commerce or a related field is advantageous.
  • Proven experience in e‑commerce, parcels logistics or adjacent supply‑chain environments , with a demonstrated ability to operate effectively in early‑stage, evolving or ambiguous conditions where ways of working are still being shaped.
  • Strong commercial acumen , with the ability to interpret numbers, customer behaviour and operational signals - and translate them into sound, practical decisions that balance customer value with sustainable commercial outcomes.
  • Highly developed stakeholder engagement and communication skills , enabling you to influence and align cross‑functional teams including Digital, Operations, Planning, Asset Management and Customer teams.
  • Demonstrated customer savviness , with a strong instinct for listening, understanding operational realities, and acting as the “voice of the customer” to drive meaningful, measurable improvements.
  • Solid project or program management capability , with evidence of managing multiple parallel workstreams, maintaining momentum, and bringing structure to complex initiatives.
  • Commercially minded practitioner , comfortable engaging with customers early in the lifecycle to win adoption, then progressively shifting focus toward enablement, stabilisation and scale as the channel and solution mature.
  • A self‑starter with strong judgement , who is energised by ambiguity, comfortable shaping models that are not fully formed, and who brings curiosity, creativity and disciplined problem‑solving to day‑to‑day decisions.
