General Position Description
Cleared American Worker - Electrician – Federal Government Projects
General Responsibilities
Electrical Installation
Perform electrical demolition as required for renovation projects.
Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems including wiring, panels, transformers, switchgear, conduit, and lighting in accordance with approved drawings and specifications
Read and interpret blueprints, electrical schematics, and one-line diagrams
Install conductors, breakers, and overcurrent protection devices based on blueprints, electrical schematics, one-line diagrams and code requirements
Install and terminate low-voltage systems (fire alarm, security, access control, data/communications)
Test, troubleshoot, and commission electrical systems prior to energization
Understand the use of and safely use various hand and power tools
Perform installation of RF Shielding \& acoustic (STC) mitigation equipment/materials per ICD/ICS 705, UFC 4-010-05 and “Best Practices Guideline For Architectural Radio Frequency Shielding”
Assist and work with all other trades on the project site.
Assist with unloading, handling and hauling of construction materials from shipping containers.

Physical Requirements
Must be able to traverse and inspect all areas of jobsite in all types of weather; this may include walking, climbing, reaching, bending, crouching, kneeling, crawling or stretching
