Power Tools & Equipment Repair Technician

Job summary

In this role, you will diagnose, service, and repair a wide variety of portable electric, cordless, and pneumatic power tools, alongside small machinery. The ideal candidate possesses a strong dual background in electrical and mechanical systems, with hands-on experience in small hydraulic component repairing. You will ensure all customer or company equipment is restored to optimal working condition while strictly adhering to safety and quality

Key Responsibilities \& Duties

* Diagnostic \& Troubleshooting: Inspect malfunctioning power tools (e.g., drills, saws, grinders, demolition hammers) and small machinery to identify root electrical or mechanical failures.

* Electrical Repairs: Replace or repair faulty electrical components, including carbon brushes, switches, power cords, armatures, field coils, lithium-ion battery contacts, and basic circuit boards.

* Mechanical Repairs: Disassemble tools to repair or swap out worn mechanical parts such as gears, bearings, chucks, pistons, drive belts, and housings.

* Small Hydraulic Servicing: Service and rebuild small hydraulic tools and equipment (such as hydraulic jacks, crimpers, small pumps, or fluid lines), which includes replacing seals, O-rings, and valves, as well as bleeding lines.

* Preventative Maintenance: Clean, lubricate, calibrate, and perform routine preventative maintenance checks to maximize tool lifespans and minimize operational downtime.

* Testing \& Quality Assurance: Operate specialized testing equipment (such as multimeters, load testers, and pressure gauges) to ensure all tools meet manufacturer safety and performance specifications prior to deployment.

Pay: AED1,800.00 - AED2,200.00 per month
