Cashier/Customer Service

We're hiring a friendly, outgoing and reliable Customer Service Associate/Cashier to perform customer-focused and customer-driven activities. The ideal candidate will help us with both in-store and online customer experiences. It is crucial for this role to have excellent communication skills, along with a pleasant personality.

Responsibilities:

• Answer customer queries and resolve product-related issues.
• Provide customers with a positive and friendly shopping experience.
• Keep the cashier area clean and tidy.
• Ensure payment is made for the items purchased for the correct amount.
• Cash or check payments only.
• Scan product barcodes and enter data into the register system .
• Process returned or exchanged items.
• Monitor items, prices and promotions in the store to ensure all is correct and up-to-date (e.g. sales, discounts, new products etc.).
• Maintain cash drawer balancing by counting change and receipts, assisting in opening and closing registers as necessary;.
• Use electronic cash register to complete transactions.
• Provide general assistance to customers including unloading of supplies/materials, packing, loading and delivery of goods.
• Download data from registers/barcode scanner at end of shift for reconciliation;.
• Other duties assigned by manager.

Pay: $17.60 per hour
