Job Summary

IIQAF Group is seeking a reliable, accurate, and customer-focused Cashier to join our hospitality team in Dubai. The successful candidate will be responsible for processing customer transactions, handling cash and card payments, operating POS systems, issuing receipts, maintaining accurate financial records, and providing excellent customer service in a fast-paced hospitality environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Process cash, credit card, debit card, and other approved customer payments accurately.
• Operate and maintain the Point of Sale (POS) system for food and beverage and hospitality transactions.
• Receive customer orders and accurately enter items, quantities, discounts, and applicable charges into the POS system.
• Issue receipts, invoices, bills, and payment confirmations to customers.
• Report cash shortages, overages, technical issues, or payment discrepancies to supervisors.
• Provide friendly, professional, and efficient customer service at all times.
• Answer customer questions regarding prices, menus, promotions, bills, and payment options.
• Coordinate with restaurant, kitchen, bar, front office, and management teams to ensure smooth operations.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and secure cashier counter and work area.
• Follow company policies relating to cash handling, financial controls, hygiene, and customer service.
• Protect customer payment information and maintain confidentiality.
• Assist during busy periods, events, banquets, and high-volume hospitality operations.

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; hospitality, accounting, or business qualification is an advantage.
• Previous experience as a Cashier, Restaurant Cashier, Hotel Cashier, POS Cashier, F\&B Cashier, Front Desk Cashier, Retail Cashier, or Customer Service Cashier is preferred.
• Experience in hotels, restaurants, cafés, resorts, catering companies, food and beverage outlets, or other hospitality businesses is highly desirable.
• Strong knowledge of cash handling, POS systems, billing, payment processing, and daily cash reconciliation.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced hospitality environment.
• Willingness to work flexible shifts, weekends, evenings, and public holidays.
