Carpenter

Overview

Seeking an experienced carpenter to join a growing residential/light commercial construction company for a mid-term timeline (3-4 months) with permanent full time work a high likelihood as jobs allow.

• At least five years of carpentry experience in residential remodeling/new construction preferred, but not required.
• Attention to detail - takes pride in quality craftsmanship and doesn't cut corners
• Strong understanding of the construction process and all associated trades - rough carpentry/framing, roofing, siding, masonry, finish carpentry, etc. Strong preference given to experience with interior finishes, drywall work, and tile installation.
• Willingness to be flexible with changing job requirements

Responsibilities

• Perform carpentry tasks with excellent craftsmanship
• Work on a crew of 2-4 people
• Responsible for ensuring the job site is safe, clean, and secure
• Understand project requirements, give input on construction plan
• Able to read and interpret building drawings.

• Must have valid driver license
• Basic hand tools and certain small power tools required. Other tools are provided. Further details are available
• Light dress code applies
• No smoking on job sites
• Pay is commensurate with experience

Pay: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour
