Job Summary
We are seeking for a commercially driven Business Development Manager to expand cross-border payment solutions in Singapore and Southeast Asia. This role blends market strategy, customer engagement, product localisation, and partnership development to fuel regional growth instead of purely sales.
Responsibilities
- Drive expansion of cross-border payment solutions across Singapore and Southeast Asia to increase market share and revenue
- Analyse customer business models and operational challenges to recommend tailored payment solutions that meet client needs
- Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify emerging fintech and cross-border payment opportunities
- Collaborate with Product, R\&D, and cross-functional teams to localize and enhance payment products for regional markets
- Build and nurture strategic partnerships with merchants, platforms, and B2B businesses to support business growth
- Support solution implementation and customer success by gathering and acting on customer feedback to improve products
- Contribute to customer acquisition, gross merchandise volume (GMV) growth, and overall business performance metrics
- Work independently in a fast-paced, dynamic environment while managing multiple stakeholder relationships effectively
Preferred competencies and qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree or higher
- Minimum 5 years of experience in FinTech, cross-border payments, international banking, or related industries
- Strong knowledge of cross-border payments, international trade, treasury operations, or cross-border e-commerce
- Experience collaborating with Product, Technology, Operations, and Commercial teams in customer-facing roles
- Strong analytical, communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills applied to business development
- Good understanding of the Singapore market with regional Southeast Asia exposure considered advantageous
- Proficiency in Mandarin preferred to collaborate with Mandarin-speaking stakeholders and headquarters

- Location: Marina Bay Sands, Singapore (Hybrid)
- Working Hours: Monday – Friday, 9:00am – 6:00pm
- Salary: SGD 8,000 - SGD 10,000 (Negotiable based on experience)
