The company helps merchants and enterprises simplify global collections, multi-currency payments, foreign exchange (FX), and international fund management, enabling businesses to expand efficiently across Singapore, Southeast Asia, and beyond.

Job Summary

We are seeking for a commercially driven Business Development Manager to expand cross-border payment solutions in Singapore and Southeast Asia. This role blends market strategy, customer engagement, product localisation, and partnership development to fuel regional growth instead of purely sales.

Responsibilities

  • Drive expansion of cross-border payment solutions across Singapore and Southeast Asia to increase market share and revenue
  • Analyse customer business models and operational challenges to recommend tailored payment solutions that meet client needs
  • Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify emerging fintech and cross-border payment opportunities
  • Collaborate with Product, R\&D, and cross-functional teams to localize and enhance payment products for regional markets
  • Build and nurture strategic partnerships with merchants, platforms, and B2B businesses to support business growth
  • Support solution implementation and customer success by gathering and acting on customer feedback to improve products
  • Contribute to customer acquisition, gross merchandise volume (GMV) growth, and overall business performance metrics
  • Work independently in a fast-paced, dynamic environment while managing multiple stakeholder relationships effectively

Preferred competencies and qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree or higher
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in FinTech, cross-border payments, international banking, or related industries
  • Strong knowledge of cross-border payments, international trade, treasury operations, or cross-border e-commerce
  • Experience collaborating with Product, Technology, Operations, and Commercial teams in customer-facing roles
  • Strong analytical, communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills applied to business development
  • Good understanding of the Singapore market with regional Southeast Asia exposure considered advantageous
  • Proficiency in Mandarin preferred to collaborate with Mandarin-speaking stakeholders and headquarters

Other Information

  • Location: Marina Bay Sands, Singapore (Hybrid)
  • Working Hours: Monday – Friday, 9:00am – 6:00pm
  • Salary: SGD 8,000 - SGD 10,000 (Negotiable based on experience)
