Before and After School Program Supervisor

Overview
We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated School Program Staff to join our educational team. This role involves engaging with students through various activities designed to foster learning, creativity, and personal development. The ideal candidate will be passionate about education and have a strong interest in working with children. Prior childcare experience is a plus, but a genuine interest in supporting student growth is essential. This position offers an opportunity to make a positive impact on students’ lives while developing valuable skills in childcare programming.

Duties

• Assist in planning and implementing activities aligned with program goals
• Schedule staff work hours
• Support management of children's behaviour during program time
• Facilitate interactive learning experiences that promote critical thinking and creativity
• Collaborate with board of directors, program staff and school administrators to ensure smooth operation of programs
• Monitor student behaviour and provide guidance to foster a safe and inclusive environment
• Prepare materials and resources needed for activities and crafts
• Communicate effectively with students, parents, and school staff regarding program activities and student progress
• Assist with snack preparation and activities

Qualifications

• Strong interest in education, teaching, or youth development
• Previous experience working with children or in educational settings is required
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment
• Organized, responsible, and adaptable to changing needs
• Passionate about supporting student learning and personal growth
• Must be reliable, punctual, and committed to creating a positive experience for students

Pay: From $25.00 per hour
