Bartender/Server

Job Summary

We are seeking a friendly and professional Bartender/Server to join our dynamic team. This role involves providing exceptional customer service, preparing and serving beverages and food, and creating a welcoming atmosphere for guests. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality, strong multitasking skills, and experience in food and beverage service. Previous experience with POS systems such as Maitre D is preferred. Responsibilities

• Take orders accurately and efficiently using POS systems, including Micros POS
• Serve food and beverages to guests in a timely and courteous manner
• Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and cashiering duties
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar and dining areas
• Ensure compliance with food safety and food handling standards
• Provide excellent customer service by engaging with guests, answering questions, and addressing concerns
• Manage multiple tables or bar stations during busy hours with effective time management
• Restock supplies as needed to ensure smooth operation during shifts
• Uphold responsible alcohol service policies and verify guest IDs when necessary
• Assist in setting up and closing down the bar or dining area as required

Qualifications

• Previous restaurant or food service experience preferred, especially in bartending or serving roles
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS or similar platforms
• Strong customer service skills with a friendly, approachable demeanor
• Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and making change accurately
• Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures
• Excellent time management abilities to handle multiple tasks efficiently during busy periods
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism
• Experience in hospitality or the food industry is a plus
• Must be at least 18 years old to serve alcohol and handle cash transactions

Pay: $19.00-$22.00 per hour
