Barista

Job Description:

We’re looking for a friendly, reliable Barista to join our team at our busy coffee kiosk located in Killarney Train Station, Co. Kerry.

About the Role

• Position: Barista
• Rate of Pay: €14.15 per hour
• Hours: Full Time
• Early morning shifts required. Additional hours available at our other café business if desired.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve high-quality coffee and hot drinks to our customers.
• Operate coffee machines and handle food preparation (pastries, sandwiches, snacks).
• Deliver excellent customer service in a fast-paced environment.
• Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kiosk, following food safety standards.
• Handle cash and card transactions accurately.

Requirements

• Some barista experience essential (coffee machine use, milk texturing, etc.).
• Must be punctual, dependable, and comfortable with early starts.
• Friendly, customer-focused attitude with good communication skills.
• Ability to work independently in a small kiosk environment.
