Barista

We are looking for an experienced and reliable Barista to join a newly opening café in Riffa. The ideal candidate should be confident in preparing a variety of hot and cold beverages, providing friendly customer service, and maintaining high standards of cleanliness and presentation. As part of the opening team, the successful candidate will also be expected to handle cashier duties when required.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and serve coffee, tea, and other hot and cold beverages
• Operate the coffee machine and other café equipment correctly
• Take customer orders and provide friendly, efficient service
• Handle cashier duties, payments, and the POS system
• Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the counter and work area
• Monitor stock levels and inform management when supplies are running low
• Follow food-safety and hygiene standards
• Assist with opening and closing duties
• Work cooperatively with the rest of the café team

Requirements:

• Previous experience as a barista is required
• Basic experience handling payments or operating a POS system
• Good communication and customer-service skills
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work well as part of a team
• Able to work full-time and commute reliably to Riffa
