Key Responsibilities:

• Beverage Preparation:Baristas prepare a variety of hot and cold drinks, including espresso-based beverages, teas, and other specialty drinks, following specific recipes and maintaining quality and presentation standards.
• Customer Service:They greet customers, take orders, answer questions about menu items, and provide recommendations based on customer preferences.
• Point of Sale:Baristas handle cash and credit card transactions, process payments, and manage the cash register.
• Maintaining the Work Area:They ensure the coffee bar and equipment are clean and organized, following health and safety guidelines.
• Inventory Management:Baristas monitor stock levels of coffee beans, supplies, and food items, and place orders as needed.
• Food Preparation (if applicable):Some Baristas may also prepare and serve pastries, sandwiches, or other food items according to recipe standards.
• Teamwork:Baristas work with other staff members to ensure smooth operations and a positive work environment.
• Training:In some cases, Baristas may train new employees on how to operate equipment and prepare drinks.
