Job Description – BaristaPosition Summary

We are looking for a passionate and customer-focused Barista to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing and serving high-quality coffee and beverages while delivering exceptional customer service. The Barista will maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming café environment and contribute to an outstanding customer experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve a variety of coffee, espresso-based beverages, teas, and other drinks according to company standards.
• Ensure consistency in beverage quality, presentation, and taste.
• Greet customers warmly, take orders accurately, and provide excellent customer service.
• Recommend menu items and upsell beverages, food, and promotional products.
• Operate coffee machines, grinders, blenders, and other café equipment safely and efficiently.
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of the work area, equipment, and dining space.
• Monitor inventory levels and report shortages of coffee beans, milk, syrups, and other supplies.
• Receive and store stock following food safety standards.
• Handle cash, POS transactions, and daily reconciliation accurately.
• Follow food safety, health, and sanitation regulations at all times.
• Assist with opening and closing duties, including equipment cleaning and preparation.
• Resolve customer inquiries and complaints professionally.
• Work collaboratively with team members to ensure smooth daily operations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Barista certification or coffee training is an advantage.

Experience

• 0–3 years of experience as a Barista in a café, coffee shop, restaurant, or hospitality environment.
• Experience with specialty coffee preparation is preferred.
