Duties

• Provide expert hair styling services tailored to each client’s preferences and needs, including cuts, color, and treatments
• Deliver exceptional customer service by engaging with clients warmly, understanding their desires, and offering professional advice
• Maintain high standards of sanitation and cleanliness in all work areas, tools, and equipment to ensure safety and hygiene compliance
• Assist at the front desk by greeting clients, scheduling appointments, and managing client check-in/check-out processes
• Promote retail sales by recommending hair care products suited to individual client needs and upselling where appropriate
• Communicate clearly with clients about service options, procedures, and aftercare instructions to enhance their experience
• Support team members in maintaining an organized workspace and adhering to salon policies

Experience

• Proven experience in hair styling or cosmetology with a valid license or certification as required by local regulations
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to build rapport quickly and professionally
• Knowledge of sanitation standards and best practices in a salon environment
• Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with clients and team members
• Experience in retail sales or upselling techniques is preferred but not mandatory
• Ability to multitask efficiently at the front desk while maintaining attention to detail during styling services
• Enthusiasm for continuous learning about new trends, techniques, and products in the beauty industry
