Assistant Operations Manager

Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site Assistant Operations Manager role based in Kuwait City. The role supports the Operations Manager in coordinating daily moving, packing, transportation, and storage operations at Pace Movers \& Storage.

The Assistant Operations Manager will help coordinate teams, drivers, vehicles, customer projects, schedules, and warehouse activities while ensuring jobs are completed efficiently, safely, and on time.

Responsibilities

• Assist in managing daily moving, packing, transportation, and storage operations.
• Coordinate movers, drivers, vehicles, equipment, and job schedules.
• Follow up with teams and monitor job progress.
• Coordinate with customers and assist with resolving operational issues.
• Support site visits and assess project requirements.
• Ensure proper handling and transportation of customer belongings.
• Assist with warehouse operations and inventory organization.
• Maintain daily job schedules, records, and reports.
• Ensure employees follow company procedures and safety standards.
• Report operational issues and delays to the Operations Manager.
• Support the Operations Manager in improving efficiency and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Experience in operations, logistics, moving, transportation, or a related field is preferred.
• Fluent in English, Arabic, and Hindi is preferred.
• Good communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks.
• Team-oriented with good leadership potential.
• Ability to work on-site in Kuwait City, including occasional weekends or extended hours.
• Relevant diploma/degree or equivalent experience preferred.
