We are looking for a talented Architect to join our dynamic and expanding Architectural team in London, Nottingham or Bristol office. You’ll join a growing and evolving division, leading a range of design and sustainability projects, delivering work for the Ministry of Justice on the Future Prisons Programme, a sole supplier framework expected to continue over several years.

Our Architectural team also works across an array of other sectors, including education, blue light, healthcare, industrial, leisure and residential. If you have experience delivering within any of these areas, we encourage you to apply.

We ensure our Architects are involved in all aspects of a project and embedded within a collaborative architectural team. You will work across all RIBA stages on a varied programme of work within the custodial sector, giving you broad exposure and the opportunity to contribute to projects from early design through to delivery. You will be given individual pieces of work to undertake with supervision, work alongside talented mentors, and be encouraged and supported to develop and express your design and technical skills.

Your Core Responsibilities Will Include:

• Supporting the development of design solutions, technical detailing, specifications, and project coordination under the guidance of senior architectural professionals.
• Collaborating and communicating effectively with clients, consultants, contractors, and wider project teams to ensure successful project delivery.
• Attending and contributing to project meetings, design reviews, and coordination workshops.
• Working closely with colleagues across a multidisciplinary environment to deliver integrated and high-quality design solutions.
• Providing guidance and support to junior team members where required, helping to foster a collaborative and supportive team culture.

About You

Our ideal candidate will have:

• RIBA Part 3 qualification and ARB registration.
• Relevant post-qualification experience delivering projects within a consultancy or architectural practice.
• Strong Revit skills and confidence producing high-quality technical outputs.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with clients, consultants, and project teams.
• A proactive, enthusiastic approach and a genuine passion for great design.
• Experience in the custodial sector (desirable).
• An understanding of sustainable design and low-carbon solutions (desirable).
• Familiarity with NBS Chorus (desirable)
