Architectural Technician

Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Architectural Technician to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assisting in the design, development, and execution of architectural projects. This role requires a strong understanding of architectural principles and proficiency in various design software.

Duties

• Prepare detailed drawings and specifications using software such as AutoCAD, Revit, and ArchiCAD.
• Assist in the development of architectural designs from concept through to completion.
• Conduct site visits for measured surveys and assess project requirements.
• Collaborate with engineers , planning consultants and party wall consultants to ensure compliance with building codes and regulations.
• Maintain organised records of project files, drawings, and correspondence.
• Experience of producing Building regulation drawings \& specifications
• Experience of preparing and submission of planning applications.
• Liaising with clients, planning officers and building control effectively.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in architectural design software including AutoCAD, Revit, ArchiCAD.
• Strong understanding of building regulations and construction methods.
• Excellent attention to detail with the ability to produce high-quality work under tight deadlines and targets.
• Strong communication skills for effective collaboration within a team environment.
• A degree or diploma in Architectural Technology

Pay: £28,000.00-£45,500.00 per year
