UA Motors is seeking an enthusiastic Motor Mechanic Apprentice at any stage of their apprenticeship.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Keeping the garage clean and tidy
• Cleaning your own tools and assisting with maintaining supervisor’s tools
• Following instructions and guidance from senior mechanics
• Observing and learning to build industry knowledge and skills
• Performing minor diagnostics and troubleshooting
• Reading car manuals and following diagnostic procedures
• Carrying out vehicle maintenance using systems such as Autodata / Alldata
• Other duties depending on experience level

Key Skills

• A positive, “can-do” attitude
• Willingness to learn and develop new skills

Requirements

• Must have the right to work in Ireland
• Existing registration with SOLAS (if you are changing employer) or willingness to register with SOLAS as Motor Mechanics Apprentice
