Your role

• Develop and manage the Raw Material Support Program for the global Cell Culture Media sites to include:

Development of risk profiles of chemicals and materials used in the manufacture of cell culture media and related products, for example trace elements or trace impurity profiles.

Providing guidance to customers and internal teams on raw material changes including vendor, sourcing, and manufacturing process changes affecting raw materials.

Working closely with internal R\&D, Quality, and Supplier Management Teams to determine potential impact of raw material changes to customer end use

Development and communication of risk mitigation strategies for materials deemed high risk for use in manufacture or for customer end use. * Coordinate the execution of testing of raw materials to support requests for data on high risk materials. This includes liaising with internal testing laboratories and external vendors for sample analysis. * Generate reports and communicate results to internal and external customer stakeholders. Reports may support customer process / product qualification endeavors, risk assessments, and investigations of non-conformances. * Generate or acquire data on raw materials used in the Cell Culture supply chain to develop qualification and / or release testing specifications. * Involvement with industry forums and groups in order to stay informed on market and industry needs regarding the Cell Culture Media supply chain. * Liaise with internal Manufacturing and Quality teams on batch troubleshooting as needed * Provide technical expertise to site Quality and Manufacturing teams during customer audits and investigations as needed.

Who you are

• 5-7 years Quality Control, R\&D, and/or analytical experience. Cell culture manufacture, testing, and/or research desirable
• 3-5 years demonstrated experience leading projects or 5+ years as a key team member on projects cross functionally focused
• 3-5 years of risk management, assessment and mitigation experience
• Fluent in English
• Experienced in external customer facing communications and support.
• Demonstrated proficiency writing technical reports, presentations, professional letters and memos
• Demonstrated understanding of manufacturing and Quality systems in a GMP or regulated environment
• Understanding of industrial large molecule drug production desirable but not required
• Equivalent combination of education and experience
• Able to analyze data sets and make technical recommendations based on data and knowledge of scientific and / or manufacturing principles
• Understanding of sterile liquid and dry powder manufacturing, packaging, and testing for release to the regulated pharmaceutical and life sciences market
