Responsibilities
- Actively pursue new business opportunities through outside sales efforts, including cold calling, networking events, and community engagement
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with clients by understanding their unique needs and offering suitable insurance and financial solutions
- Negotiate terms and close sales effectively while ensuring client satisfaction and compliance with company policies
- Conduct retail sales presentations to educate clients about product features, benefits, and coverage options
- Manage sales administration tasks such as processing applications, updating client records, and tracking sales activities using CRM systems
- Analyze market trends and customer feedback to identify opportunities for growth and improvement in sales strategies
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries promptly, resolving issues efficiently, and maintaining positive communication channels
Skills
- Proven experience in outside sales, retail sales, or insurance sales with a track record of meeting or exceeding targets
- Strong negotiation skills with the ability to influence and persuade diverse audiences
- Excellent communication skills in multiple languages; bilingual abilities are highly valued
- Proficiency in sales administration tools, CRM software, and basic analysis skills for market research
- Familiarity with marketing principles to effectively promote products and services
- Knowledge of benefits administration, HIPAA regulations (Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act), and telemarketing best practices
- Exceptional customer service skills with a proactive approach to client engagement and relationship management
