What's on offer?

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Inventory Coordinator to join our team and support our manufacturing operations at Ridley AgriProducts. This role is responsible for the end-to-end planning, forecasting and coordination of raw materials, packaging and finished goods to ensure uninterrupted production and efficient site operations.

The ideal candidate will have strong planning capability, advanced Excel skills and the ability to build effective working relationships across suppliers, transport providers and internal stakeholders. You will play a key role in ensuring materials are available at the right time, while balancing cost, inventory control and operational efficiency.

The Role

As a Inventory Coordinator, you will be responsible for:

  • Developing and maintaining material plans aligned to production schedules and forecasting requirements.
  • Monitoring inventory levels, material availability and supplier performance to prevent shortages and reduce waste.
  • Coordinating inbound deliveries, transport schedules and external warehouse movements.
  • Managing purchase orders, supplier contracts and inventory records within D365 and planning systems.
  • Maintaining planning spreadsheets, reporting tools and system data accuracy.
  • Supporting stocktakes, inventory reconciliations and investigation of stock discrepancies.
  • Working closely with Production, Warehouse, QA, Procurement and Finance teams to ensure operational alignment.
  • Supporting continuous improvement initiatives focused on inventory accuracy, cost control and process efficiency.
  • Ensuring compliance with safety, quality and biosecurity requirements.

You will have

  • Experience in material planning, supply chain, procurement or logistics coordination roles.
  • Advanced Excel capability including pivot tables, formulas and data analysis.
  • Experience using ERP systems, preferably Microsoft D365.
  • Strong stakeholder engagement and supplier relationship management skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving capability.
  • The ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience within manufacturing, FMCG or supply chain environments (desirable).
  • Power BI or data visualisation skills (desirable).
