We are seeking a highly organised and proactive Accounting Administrator, known internally as a Client Accounting \& Tax Administrator, to provide administrative support to the Client Accounting \& Taxation team and the wider business. This role plays a key part in supporting the day-to-day operations of the team, ensuring client and compliance requirements are met efficiently and accurately.
This is a varied and fast-paced position that offers the opportunity to become involved in all aspects of the team's activities, contribute to process improvements, and support the delivery of exceptional service to our clients.
The successful candidate will be systems-savvy, detail-oriented, great with data, and able to manage multiple priorities while working to strict deadlines. They will enjoy working collaboratively within a team while also being confident working independently.
Working closely with the Client Accounting \& Taxation team on day-to-day administration and tax compliance requirements, including:* Liaising with branch staff, clients, IRD, and other external parties regarding administrative and taxation matters. * Maintaining tax management, workflow, CRM, and other business systems to ensure information is accurate and up to date. * Providing administrative support and assistance to Client Accountants and the wider team as required. * Acting as a key point of contact for internal and external stakeholders. * Preparing client invoices and producing month-end reporting. * Arranging taxation payments and receipting tax refunds as required. * Monitoring workflow queues and ensuring tasks are completed within required timeframes. * Maintaining accurate client records and ensuring data integrity across multiple systems. * Coordinating and following up outstanding information requests from clients and stakeholders. * Assisting with the preparation and processing of tax-related documentation and correspondence. * Identifying opportunities to improve administrative processes and team efficiencies. * Supporting the team in meeting key compliance obligations and deadlines. * Contributing to team objectives and assisting with additional administrative tasks as required.
