The Role We are seeking a meticulous and experienced Accountant to manage the financial operations of Gran Caffè. This is a role for someone who takes pride in accuracy, stays on top of the details, and understands the financial rhythm of the hospitality industry.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day accounting operations including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries
• Reconcile POS system reports with daily sales records and bank statements to ensure full financial accuracy
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports and statements
• Monitor cash flow, track expenses, and flag discrepancies promptly
• Assist in budget preparation, forecasting, and cost control analysis
• Coordinate with suppliers and vendors on invoicing and payment schedules
• Ensure compliance with UAE financial regulations and tax requirements
• Support management with financial insights and reporting to aid decision-making
• Oversee inventory tracking and cost of goods, prepare and analyze Profit \& Loss statements, and proactively monitor financial performance to ensure the restaurant is operating efficiently, breaking even, and protected against loss

What We're Looking For

• Minimum 3–5 years of accounting experience, ideally within the hospitality or F\&B industry
• Hands-on experience working with POS systems is essential
• Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks, Xero, or similar platforms
• Exceptional attention to detail and a high level of accuracy in all financial work
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple responsibilities and deadlines
• Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is required; a professional certification (e.g. CPA, ACCA) is a plus
• Fluency in English is required; Arabic is an advantage
