Yard Hand/ Loader Operator

Description:

Due to growth and expansion, we are seeking an experienced Loader Operator/Yard Hand to join our team.

What You’ll Be Doing

Operate front-end loaders, forklifts and other plant and equipment

Load and unload trucks, haul and hoist materials as required

Maintain the plant and yard in a clean, safe and operational condition

Complete daily pre-start and end-of-day inspections of plant and equipment

• Use basic computer systems for reporting and record keeping
• Comply with all Prestige Civil Group OH\&S policies, procedures and safety instructions

Travel between multiple work sites as required

Skills and Experiences:

What We’re Looking For

Experience operating a Front-End Loader and other plant machinery

• Heavy Rigid Licence (highly regarded)
• Strong safety awareness and ability to follow procedures
• Experience in materials handling or yard operations

Strong teamwork and communication skills
