Wood Painter Wanted

We are looking for a skilled Wood Painter with hands-on experience in spray painting, wood carving painting, antique finishes, and decorative wood finishing. The ideal candidate should have excellent knowledge of paint preparation, color matching, surface finishing, and techniques used to enhance carved and decorative wooden items.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare wooden surfaces by sanding, cleaning, filling, and priming before painting.
• Perform spray painting on wooden furniture, doors, panels, decorative items, and carved wood.
• Apply paint, lacquer, stain, varnish, and other wood finishing materials.
• Carry out wood carving painting and decorative finishing with attention to fine details.
• Apply antique, distressed, vintage, and decorative finishes to carved wooden surfaces.
• Mix and match paints, stains, and finishes to achieve the required colors and shades.
• Operate and maintain spray guns and other painting equipment.
• Ensure smooth, even, and high-quality finishes without runs, bubbles, or uneven coverage.
• Perform touch-ups, polishing, and final finishing as required.
• Read and follow finishing specifications, samples, and color requirements.
• Maintain proper cleanliness and safety standards in the painting and finishing area.
• Minimize material wastage and ensure efficient use of paints and finishing products.
• Coordinate with carpenters and production staff to ensure finished products meet quality standards.

Required Skills & Experience

• Proven experience as a Wood Painter, Furniture Painter, Spray Painter, or Wood Finishing Painter.
• Strong experience in spray painting of wood and furniture.
• Hands-on experience with wood carving painting and decorative finishes.
• Knowledge of antique painting, vintage finishing, staining, varnishing, and polishing.
• Good knowledge of paint mixing, color matching, and surface preparation.
• Ability to work with spray guns and different types of wood finishing materials.
• Excellent attention to detail and finishing quality.
• Ability to work independently and meet production deadlines.
• Experience in furniture, interior fit-out, luxury furniture, or decorative woodwork is an advantage.

Preferred Candidate

Candidates with experience in antique furniture finishing, carved wooden furniture, luxury interiors, traditional wood painting, and decorative wood finishing will be preferred.

Pay: QAR2,300.00 - QAR2,500.00 per month
