Welding & Fabrication Technician

Heavy Equipment Welding \| Bucket Fabrication \| Hard Facing

Harbour Construction is looking for an experienced Welding \& Fabrication Technician with a strong background in heavy equipment repair and custom fabrication.

We are specifically looking for someone with proven experience in excavator bucket fabrication, bucket armor, hard facing, heavy equipment repair welding, and custom truck and gravel box fabrication.

This is not an entry-level welding position and we are not looking for general production welding experience. We are looking for a skilled fabricator who can work independently, produce high-quality work, and support our equipment and operations with minimal supervision.

Required Experience

Applicants must have demonstrated experience with:

• Excavator bucket fabrication
• Excavator bucket armor and reinforcement
• Excavator bucket hardfacing
• Bucket repair and rebuilds
• Heavy equipment welding repair
• Gravel box fabrication and repair
• Dump box fabrication and repair
• Truck bed fabrication
• Custom steel fabrication
• Structural welding repairs

Responsibilities

• Perform welding repairs on heavy equipment and attachments
• Fabricate and rebuild excavator buckets and wear components
• Complete hardfacing and reinforcement work
• Fabricate and repair gravel boxes, dump boxes, and truck beds
• Complete custom fabrication projects based on operational requirements
• Support equipment uptime through quality repair and fabrication work
• Maintain safe and organized work practices
