Welder MIG/TIG

Al Bany International Oman is looking for a skilled and experienced MIG / TIG Welder to join our team in Ibri, Oman. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in welding structural steel, piping, and fabricated components while ensuring high-quality workmanship and compliance with safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform MIG and TIG welding on structural steel, stainless steel, carbon steel, and other metal components.
• Read and interpret welding symbols, engineering drawings, and fabrication plans.
• Prepare materials for welding by cutting, grinding, and fitting components.
• Ensure welds meet project specifications, quality standards, and inspection requirements.
• Inspect completed welds for defects and carry out repairs where necessary.
• Operate and maintain welding equipment and related tools safely.
• Work closely with fabricators, fitters, and supervisors to complete fabrication and assembly activities.
• Follow all HSE policies and maintain a safe and organized work environment.

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of proven experience as a MIG / TIG Welder.
• Strong experience in structural steel and industrial fabrication projects.
• Ability to read and interpret fabrication drawings and welding symbols.
• Knowledge of welding procedures, joint preparation, and welding quality standards.
• Experience with carbon steel and stainless steel welding is required.
• Physically fit and able to work in workshop and site environments.
• GCC/Oman experience will be an added advantage.
