Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and skilled Welder-MIG / Labor to join our team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse projects, utilizing advanced welding techniques and hands-on fabrication skills. You will be responsible for performing MIG welding, assisting with assembly and fabrication tasks, and supporting various construction-related activities to ensure project success. This position is essential for maintaining high standards of craftsmanship while adhering to safety protocols and industry standards. Duties

  • Perform MIG (Metal Inert Gas) welding on various metal racks
  • Assist in fabrication tasks such as cutting, grinding, plasma cutting, and press brake operations to shape metal parts accurately
  • Use hand tools, power tools, calipers, micrometers, and other measurement devices to verify dimensions and quality standards
  • Operate forklifts and other machinery safely to transport materials or equipment as needed
  • Follow all safety procedures related to welding codes (such as ASME standards), construction site protocols, and equipment operation to maintain a safe work environment

Qualifications

  • Skilled in MIG welding with knowledge of FCAW (Flux-Cored Arc Welding)
  • Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, plasma cutters, press brake machines, and other fabrication equipment
  • Basic math skills for measurements and calculations during fabrication tasks
  • Ability to operate forklifts safely; certification preferred but not mandatory
  • Strong teamwork ethic with excellent communication skills; adaptable to changing priorities
