Hours: 39 hours per week

• Monday to Thursday: 8:00am - 4:30pm
• Friday: 8:00am - 3:30pm
• Overtime opportunities available

Minimum Annual Remuneration: €36,605 per annum

We are currently seeking a qualified MIG/TIG Welder to join our team in Carey Glass. The successful candidate will be responsible for the fabrication, maintenance, and repair of glass transport and storage racks, while also providing support to the maintenance team as required.

Key Responsibilities:

• Fabricate, modify, and repair glass racks and associated equipment.
• Carry out MIG and TIG welding to a high standard.
• Assist the maintenance team with plant and equipment repairs when required.
• Ensure all work is completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues to meet production and maintenance targets.
• Comply with all Safe Systems of Work (SSOW), health and safety, and quality procedures.
• Report directly to the Department Manager.

Requirements:

• Qualified MIG/TIG Welder or relevant welding experience.
• Ability to work accurately and consistently with a strong attention to detail.
• Flexible approach to overtime and operational requirements.
• Strong teamwork skills and a positive attitude.
• Experience in fabrication and repair work within a manufacturing environment is desirable.
