Web Developer

About the Role

We are looking for a skilled and reliable Web Developer to develop, maintain, and improve company websites, e-commerce platforms, landing pages, and web applications.

The candidate should have practical experience in website development, WordPress/WooCommerce, integrations, technical SEO, analytics, performance optimization, hosting, and troubleshooting.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain websites, landing pages, and web applications.
• Redesign and improve existing websites.
• Develop and maintain e-commerce websites.
• Manage WordPress, WooCommerce, and other CMS platforms.
• Update website content, pages, blogs, and news sections.
• Ensure websites are mobile-friendly and responsive.
• Create and manage website forms and lead integrations.
• Integrate websites with CRM, email, notification, and third-party systems.
• Implement and maintain:
• Google Analytics 4 (GA4)
• Google Tag Manager (GTM)
• Meta Pixel and other tracking tools
• Handle basic technical SEO, including redirects, sitemap, metadata, indexing, and canonical URLs.
• Improve website speed, performance, and Core Web Vitals.
• Support website accessibility improvements.
• Handle basic website security and hardening.
• Manage website backups and deployments.
• Support domain, DNS, SSL, hosting, and server-related tasks.
• Integrate third-party APIs and automation tools.
• Troubleshoot and fix website bugs and technical issues.
• Improve website usability and conversion performance.
• Maintain proper technical documentation and source-code management.
• Coordinate with design, marketing, and other internal teams.

Requirements

• Degree, Diploma, or relevant qualification in Computer Science, IT, Web Development, or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of professional web development experience.
• Strong knowledge of: HTML, CSS, JavaScript and PHP or similar backend technologies
• Strong experience with WordPress and WooCommerce.
• Experience with APIs and third-party integrations.
• Knowledge of GA4, Google Tag Manager, pixels, and conversion tracking.
• Good understanding of technical SEO.
• Experience with website speed and performance optimization.
• Knowledge of domains, DNS, SSL, hosting, backups, and deployments.
• Familiarity with Git or other version-control systems.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and time-management skills.
• Ability to manage multiple websites and tasks.
• Contract Duration: 6 Months
