Web Content Executive
Job Description

83 Devonshire Road, #27-03, The Metz, Singapore 239864

What this position is about

The Web Content Executive will look after the day-to-day content across our website and digital properties.

You will be responsible for keeping web pages accurate, well presented and up to date, while working with the marketing team on new content, page updates and ongoing improvements.

The role combines content writing, website administration and basic digital marketing. It is a good fit for someone who enjoys working with words but is also comfortable getting into the practical side of managing a website.

Your main areas of work

Website content

  • Create, edit and update website copy, landing pages, product or service information and other web content.
  • Upload and publish content through the company's CMS.
  • Review existing pages regularly and update outdated information.
  • Check formatting, links, images and page content before and after publication.
  • Ensure web content is clear, accurate and consistent with the intended brand tone.

Content production

  • Write short-form website copy, headlines, page introductions, calls to action and supporting content.
  • Adapt existing materials for use across different web pages.
  • Work with marketing and creative team members when new website content is required.
  • Coordinate images, graphics and other supporting assets for publication.

Search \& discoverability

  • Apply basic SEO principles when preparing and updating website content.
  • Assist with keyword research and incorporate relevant search terms naturally into web pages.
  • Review page titles, headings, meta descriptions and internal links.
  • Work with the marketing team to identify opportunities to improve organic visibility.

Website quality

  • Carry out routine checks for broken links, outdated information, formatting issues and other content errors.
  • Help maintain a consistent structure across website pages.
  • Flag technical or user-experience issues to the appropriate team.
  • Keep track of content updates and publishing schedules.

Performance

  • Monitor basic website content metrics such as traffic, page views and engagement.
  • Review which pages and topics are performing well.
  • Support simple content audits and reporting.
  • Use performance observations to suggest improvements to existing content.

What you'll need to be comfortable with

Writing

You should be able to write clear, concise English and adjust your writing style depending on the page and intended audience.

Website tools

Experience with a CMS such as WordPress, Shopify or another website management system will be useful.

Digital marketing

A basic understanding of SEO, website analytics and digital content practices is preferred.

Attention to detail

Web content often involves small details — a missing link, incorrect product information, inconsistent formatting or an outdated paragraph. You should be comfortable checking your work carefully before publishing.

Organisation

You will be handling content at different stages, so being able to keep track of drafts, approvals, updates and deadlines is important.

Experience and qualifications

  • Diploma or Degree in Marketing, Communications, Media, English, Journalism, Digital Marketing or a related field.
  • Around 1–3 years of experience in web content, digital content, copywriting or a similar position.
  • Good written and spoken English.
  • Familiarity with CMS platforms and basic website content management.
  • Basic understanding of SEO and web analytics.
  • Comfortable using Microsoft Office, Google Workspace or similar tools.
  • Experience with Canva or basic image-editing tools is an advantage.

Candidates with strong writing skills and relevant digital content experience are encouraged to apply.

Before you publish, you check.

That is an important part of this role.

You will be expected to review content carefully, spot inconsistencies and make sure pages are ready before they go live. At the same time, the role isn't purely editorial — you'll also be involved in the practical process of getting content onto the website and keeping it current.

If you enjoy writing, organising information and working with websites, this position offers exposure to all three.
