JOB DESCRIPTION
- Plan, coordinate, and monitor warehousing and logistic operations.
- Develop, implement and continually improve logistic and warehouse operating procedure and efficiency of workers.
- Recommend improvement plans to streamline processes and enhance the efficiency of the supply chain and increase Company profitability.
- Collaborate with inter-department to resolve operational difficulties, challenges or complaint.
- Liaise and coordinate with transporters on the transportation, shipping, and delivery activities to ensure timely and cost-effective distribution.
- Manage all aspects of the stock delivery processes, including scheduling, routing, tracking shipments and also handling full set of shipping documentation.
- Assist or carry out any other duties as and when assigned by superior
- Any other duty as stated in the summary of functions and responsibilities issued from time to time but not mentioned in this Job Description.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Diploma/Bachelor's degree in Business, Retail Management, Warehouse or a related field.
- Over 5 years of working experience in the same field (Warehousing / Logistics / Transportation / Inventory) and experience in the retail industry is an added advantage.
- Good in spoken and written in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
- Good interpersonal skills and able to interact with people at all level.
- Strong data analytical skills and ability to show effective leadership to solve problems and set priorities.
- Able to work independently with minimum supervision.
- Computer literate and proficient in MS Office tools / application (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Willing to work in Sabak Bernam, Selangor.
