Warehouse Lead - Supervisor

We are looking for an experienced Warehouse Lead to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the warehouse, including receiving, stocking, and shipping of products. The Warehouse Lead will also be responsible for managing inventory levels, ensuring accuracy of shipments, and providing leadership and guidance to warehouse staff. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of warehouse operations and a commitment to safety and customer service.

Responsibilities:

• Supervise and coordinate the activities of warehouse personnel.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and ensure that all orders are filled correctly.
• Ensure safety standards are met in the warehouse.
• Train and develop warehouse personnel to meet company standards.
• Develop and implement warehouse procedures and policies.
• Monitor warehouse operations to ensure efficiency and accuracy.
• Ensure that all materials are properly stored, labeled, and tracked.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience (X+ years) in warehouse management, preferably in the building supplies industry.
• Strong knowledge of warehouse management systems, inventory control techniques, and industry best practices.
• Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a diverse team.
• Sound understanding of health and safety regulations and the ability to enforce compliance within the warehouse.
• Proficiency in using warehouse management software, inventory management tools, and other relevant technologies.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills, with keen attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and suppliers.
• Proven ability to analyze data, generate reports, and provide actionable insights for continuous improvement.
• Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and work in a fast-paced environment.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $25.00 - $28.00 per hour
