The Warehouse Helper supports the daily warehouse operations by assisting with receiving, unloading, storing, picking, packing, transferring, and dispatching fashion merchandise, accessories, beauty products, and other retail products.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in loading and unloading merchandise from delivery vehicles.
- Receive and arrange incoming stock in the warehouse.
- Assist with picking and packing products according to store and delivery requirements.
- Sort, organize, label, tag, and arrange merchandise in designated warehouse locations.
- Support stock transfers between the warehouse and retail stores.
- Assist with inter-store transfers and returns.
- Handle fashion products, accessories, beauty products, and other merchandise carefully to avoid damage.
- Assist with stock counting and physical inventory checks.
- Report damaged, missing, or incorrect items to the Warehouse Supervisor.
- Maintain cleanliness and proper organization of the warehouse.
- Follow proper FIFO/FEFO procedures where applicable.
- Assist with preparing cartons and merchandise for store deliveries.
- Ensure products are stored safely and correctly according to warehouse procedures.
- Support the warehouse team during stock receiving, dispatch, and stock-taking activities.
- Follow all company health, safety, and warehouse procedures.
- Perform other warehouse duties assigned by the Warehouse Manager or Supervisor.
Requirements
- Previous warehouse experience is preferred, preferably in retail, fashion, beauty, FMCG, or lifestyle products.
- Physically fit and able to lift and move cartons and merchandise.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
- Basic understanding of warehouse operations.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Reliable, punctual, and hardworking.
- Ability to follow instructions and warehouse procedures.
- Willingness to work flexible hours when required.
