Job Title: Warehouse Assistant / Forklift Operator

Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Warehouse Assistant / Forklift Operator to support inventory management and warehouse operations. The role involves maintaining accurate stock records, operating forklifts for material movement, ensuring proper storage practices, and supporting receiving and dispatch activities. The ideal candidate will have hands-on warehouse experience, strong organizational skills, and a valid UAE RTA Forklift Operator License.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate forklifts safely and efficiently for loading, unloading, stacking, and transporting materials within the warehouse.
• Assist in conducting periodic stock counts, cycle counts, and annual inventory audits.
• Maintain inventory accuracy by cross-checking physical stock against ERP/WMS records.
• Perform spot checks and verify proper stacking, storage, and identification of materials.
• Assist in receiving local and international shipments, ensuring quantities and material conditions match supporting documents.
• Handle warehouse documentation including LPOs, Delivery Orders, Invoices, Packing Lists, and Goods Received Notes.
• Support labeling, barcode scanning, and maintenance of warehouse location/grid systems.
• Ensure materials are stored safely and systematically for easy retrieval and inventory control.
• Assist in packaging, marking, and dispatching materials as per customer and project requirements.
• Coordinate with warehouse personnel to ensure efficient material flow and stock movement.
• Report stock discrepancies, damages, shortages, and assist in reconciliation activities.
• Conduct routine forklift inspections and report any maintenance requirements.
• Follow all warehouse safety regulations, company policies, and material handling procedures.
• Support logistics and courier coordination when required.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of experience in warehouse operations, inventory control, or logistics (UAE experience preferred).
• Mandatory UAE RTA Forklift Operator License.
• Proven experience operating forklifts in a warehouse environment.
• Basic knowledge of ERP systems and inventory management software.
• Familiarity with warehouse documentation and stock control procedures.
• Good organizational, numerical, and record-keeping skills.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Physically fit and capable of handling warehouse-related tasks when required.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with barcode scanners, labeling systems, and warehouse management systems.
• Knowledge of warehouse safety standards and best practices for material handling.
• Ability to identify and report inventory discrepancies accurately.
• Experience handling industrial, mechanical, or engineering-related materials is an advantage.

Salary

AED 1,500 – AED 2,000 per month
