Job Purpose:
The Visual Communications Designer of The Standard, Bangkok Mahanakhon is responsible for all creatives and production of all design-based items including brand collaterals, promotional materials, photography & cinematography under the direction of the brand guidelines.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Design creative assets for marketing campaigns, seasonal promotions, Events, Restaurants, Nightlife, Rooms, Spa, and Hotel Experiences.
Produce high-quality visual content for social media, digital advertising, websites, email marketing, presentations, and printed collateral.
Develop artwork for menus, signage, in-room materials, outdoor media, event branding, merchandise, and promotional materials.
Ensure all creative output aligns with The Standard's global brand identity while incorporating locally relevant and culturally engaging ideas.
Collaborate with Marketing, Public Relations (PR), Social Media, Food & Beverage, Sales, and Operations teams to deliver impactful campaigns.
Prepare artwork for print production and liaise with external vendors to ensure quality execution.
Support photography and video productions through art direction, mood boards, graphic treatments, and post-production editing when required.
Manage and organize digital assets, templates, and brand resources.
Stay ahead of design trends, emerging creative tools, hospitality, fashion, music, and lifestyle culture to continuously inspire fresh creative ideas.
Handle multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines in a dynamic hospitality environment.
Required skills and Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degrees with associated degrees in graphic design or fine art
2- 5 years or more years of experience in Graphic Design or Visual Communications with proven graphics design experience
Highly skilled in creative program (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign)
Proficiency in photo and videography and it’s related programs (Lightroom, Premium Pro, Final Cut Pro)
Skilled in using 3d design program is a plus (3Ds Max, Sketchup)
Highly creative, always thinking out of the box with an extrovert personality
