About us Pixel Media Group is a creative agency in Essex building websites, social media and video for local businesses. We're growing fast, and we're looking for someone passionate about filming and editing to help us deliver client video work — without it being a full-time role. The role We're looking for a videographer and/or video editor. You might do both, or lean towards one — either works if the quality's there. Work comes in clusters, not every week. When we've got jobs lined up, we'll book you for a day (or two) so it's worth your time — shoots on location and/or editing batches of content. Ideal if you're at college, freelancing, or building a reel and want real client work that fits around other commitments. What you'll do • Film short-form / social / promo video for local businesses (on location in Essex) • Edit footage into clean, on-brand deliverables (Reels, shorts, ads, simple promo cuts) • Work from a brief and shot list we give you • Hand over finished files on time What we're looking for • A real passion for videography and/or editing — this should be something you actually want to do • Own camera kit is a plus (we'll say if a job needs specific gear); solid editing setup essential if you're editing • Comfortable with social-first formats (vertical video, Reels, TikTok-style cuts) • Reliable, communicative, and fine working occasionally rather than 9–5 • Essex-based or able to get to shoots around Brentwood / wider Essex • Able to work as self-employed / freelance Pay • Paid per job / day rate when we cluster work together • Exact rates depend on the day and deliverables — we'll agree before each booking • Occasional work, not a guaranteed weekly hours contract Why join • Real client work for your portfolio • Flexible — fits around college or other work • Training and clear briefs from our team • Room to grow with us if the partnership works How to apply Apply on Eurostaffs with a short note about your experience (or college course), whether you film, edit, or both, and a link to your reel / portfolio if you have one. Shortlisted people will get a quick chat with us.
